Open Question: Why is Brian De Palma such a
I can't think of a movie from him I didn't like, or at least wasn't dumb and filled with "'bro' is black slang"/"'bro' is white slang" nonsense. :D Come on "Scarface" "The Untouchables" "Carlito's Way" (my personal favorite from him) De Palma is grandslam when it comes to production-making :D

Resolved Question: Brian De Palma Vs Martin
Between these two great directors who have filmed in the most 'important gangster films such as Brian De Palma favorite author of Scarface and The Untouchables or Goodfellas director Martin Scorsese ?

Resolved Question: Top 5 Brian De Palma
My list: 1. Blow Out 2. The Untouchables 3. Scarface 4. Mission: Impossible 5. Sisters He is such a strange director for me. I've never reacted to one of his films with an "eh," which I suppose is a compliment. I'm either completely enthralled or completely appalled. The Bonfire of the Vanities, Femme Fatale, The Black Dahlia, and Redacted all caused me a degree of physical pain. I wanted to -escape- those movies while watching them. Yet he also directed Blow Out, one of the most elegant and suspenseful and inventive thrillers I've seen, albeit one obviously indebted to several other films and filmmakers. Resolved Question: Does anyone else thinks
I mean the man even though he always had the VERY BEST actors in most of his movies, he still failed to give us anything memorable and worthy. Other than Scarface that we all remember for the incredible acting of the legendary Al Pacino (he is the man), most likely his rest work is pretty much mediocre. Especially his desperate constant attempts to direct ala Hitchcock in so many of his films, make him look like a clown! Anyways, i keep Carlito's Way & Scarface only because of Al Pacino and Body Double because of the good scenario and cinematography and rest i throw it to the trashcan. Thoughts?
