Resolved Question: In the Fiddler on the
Zero Mostel was the one who originally played the role on Broadway, and he was still active when the film was made. So why didn't they put him in the film.

Resolved Question: I am auditioning for
Ok so my problem is that i pride myself in my acting but am not a great singer... The audition sheets we got said that she didn't have to be but can just be able to carry a note. I naturally was happy because i can do that! I am in 8th grade and I hope I get the part because all the other years I got small but funny parts and this is a big and funny/dramatic role. In my school the 8th graders normally get more lines, better parts, etc. and I FINALLY AM ONE! I plan to use a my acclaimed Russian-Jewish Accent. What do you think? Any tips for this role? Please answer ASAP

Resolved Question: How can i prepare for my
school musical auditions are in 10 days.
the show is fiddler on the roof. basically, i'm going for a part that doesn't involve blending into the background. i believe i have what it takes to do this, but could use some help in refining my audition techniques. so my questions are-
is there anything i can do to improve the quality of my voice? tea, lozenges, warm ups, etc?
how can i have the appearance of a coordinated dancer? this is my weakest area, and though the steps for the audition are simple, i still want it to look nice.
what should i wear? for an auditions, i'd usually wear yoga pants or shorts and a solid color shirt, but i had read somewhere that someone wore a kerchief thing at her audition and got a part. i feel like this might be overkill in trying too hard, but certainly don't know if that's what directors would look for.
what can i do to improve a russian accent? it doesn't come naturally as, for instance, a british accent does. and would that be too much to use one in my audition?
i think that covers the specifics, but would appreciate any other tips, aside from "practice, practice, practice!" :)
thanks!
