Resolved Question: Does anyone know if
My kitty Akeiva(Keiver for short) has always been fed appropriate Purina cat Chow. Lately he's been pretty sickly:throwing up a lot, gorging on food, throwing up some more, lethargic, etc. I switched his food to IAMS and in 2 days he's feeling great again, even though he's an older cat.
With all the press about the junk Chinese put in food products I'm wondering if Purina Cat Chow is being imported from China.
Does anyone know?
BTW: Keiver was a stray my sister found in San Antonio while she was there for cancer treatments. Before she passed she asked me to take him. He's a Siamese:missing a fang and a few teeth, ears kinda shredded, likes to claw the furniture, but needless to say I'm pretty attached to him. Some dingbat I was dating tried to spank him for clawing my couch. As I was escorting her to her car I explained to her that before keiver gets spanked I would buy another couch, and another, and another. Like I said: I'm pretty fond of him. He's still here shredding my furniture, and she isn't around..... Some good answers. Since I've had him he's always been an indoors cat: too dangerous to go outside(cars, other cats, eagles, hawks, cat haters, etc) Missing teeth are from his wildcat days, same with ears.He does have feline H.I.V. and idiot vets all want to put him down which ain't hapening. So we avoid vets.
Also tried every scratching post known to man: I really think he shreds furniture to get my attention:it's a game we play:he shreds I call him.Works for us :) Just got home from work and keiver seems to be doing very well. All I can guess is it was the Purina. No vomiting, playing with fluffy(my other cat:furball) and wanting belly rub.
I'll tell you how spoiled he is: I use to keep a glass of water by my bed for myslef. Keiver started drinking it and now when he comes to bed, I get him a fresh glass of water(he looks at my pitifully till I do). Yup, I'm pretty fond of him :)
Thanks for all the good answers. Will pick a best one tomorrow.

Has anyone been to and familiar with that part of China where this dialect is used? What's the status like for this dialect today? Thanks to potatoetomatoe and Tt for your comments. However, I don't think Foo Chow is any lesser than Mandarin.I can notice it has it's own uniqueness.
