I personally had never heard of him until he replaced Kevin Spacey in All The Money In The World (2017) in the role of J Paul Getty I asked my grandmother about it, she said he is much more famous than Kevin Spacey, but she couldn't name any of Plummer's films. I can name many Spacey films but that is mainly because he is my wife's favourite actor. Plummer was quite good as Getty in All The Money In The World (2017) but I can't help wondering how Spacey would have played the role. Since then I saw Donald Sutherland play Getty in the show Trust and he was great.

All actors have played oil billionaire J Paul Getty in film or TV Christopher Plummer played him in All The Money In The World (2017) and was Oscar Nominated for it Kevin Spacey, originally played him in the film but was cut from it for obvious reasons Donald Sutherland plays him in the TV series Trust (2018) I did think Plummer was very good but Donald Sutherland is a class of his own, he is excellent in the role, so cold and intimidating, yet a slight caring side to him underneath it all, Spacey version is a joke, then again he never was much of an actor, he isn't even that now as he will never be in a film again, good thing. Who is best actor and best at playing Getty?

Both actors of similar generation and have been famous for 50 years. Both have played Jean Paul Getty, the patriarch of the Getty family. Christopher Plummer plays him in All The Money In The World (2017) movie, he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for the film. Donald Sutherland plays him in the show Trust (2018-) about the Getty family Who is best and best as Getty?

The new film All The Money In The World (2017), may be quite good as talentless evil monster Kevin Spacey has been replaced by actual actor Christopher Plummer who will play Jean-Paul Getty. Is Christopher Plummer a good actor? He will probably be better than Spacey, that is not difficult though.
