Resolved Question: Cannot find much
This is my daughter's paternal great, great, great grandfather, he was supposedly born in 1864 but the year of birth is different in the three censuses I have found him in. He also supposedly immigrated from Norway but I can find no record of his immigration (other that what is claimed on the census), his immigration year changed from 1878 to 1874 between the 1900 and 1920 census. No information was recorded for the 1910 census regarding his immigration date. I also find it puzzling that in the 1900 census under naturalization, it says papers are filed and in 1920, they are still listed as filed. I can find nothing about this ancestor between 1874/78 and 1900, no census records. He first shows up as the son-in-law in my daughter's great x4 grandfather, the last record I can locate is the 1920 census where he is listed as the father-in-law, nothing regarding his death either. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have tried different spellings of the surname. His name is Carl Lee, born approx 1864, immigrated 1874 or 1878. First showed up 1900 federal census in Tomah (I think thats correct) Wisconsin, living with his wife Rocelia, Roselia, Celia, St. Claire (Sinclair), at his father-in-law's home; Franklin Sinclair. Rocelia's mother's name was Medora Solles (if I remember correctly)

Resolved Question: Variations of the name
I know there's Clara and Clarice. But I was wondering if there were any other names that sounded relatively close to Claire, Clara, and Clarice. Thanks!
