Resolved Question: David Nalbandian retired,
David Nalbandian, tennis player from Argentina, retired at 31 yo the other day. How will you remember him? For me, I'll remember him being one of the most talented players I ever saw (including this generation of talent), one of the best two handed backhands. He was capable of beating anyone on any day if he was right. Unfortunately, he didn't work as hard as he could. That lead to a lot of preventable injuries and niggles, and also was a reason why he could never win a Grand Slam in my opinion. That's also how I'll remember him. You can't argue that he didn't have a great career, but anyone who is capable of beating Nadal, Djokovic, Federer, b2b2b, to win a masters tournament, and doing it when not in the exact prime of career, that's surely someone who was more than capable of winning not just a Grand Slam, but Grand Slams. He did still have incredible chances though. Wimbledon final, Loss to Hewitt, and two other ones that stick out. 2003 SF US Open, loss to Roddick, and 2006 SF Australian Open, loss to Baghdatis. As great of a player as he was, I think it wasn't enough. Not only could he have worked a lot harder, but I think he lacked heart. It cost him in the biggest moments. Can't take anything away from what he was able to accomplish as a professional tennis player, but it could've been even greater. He was that skilled and talented. I wish him the best. He was very fun to watch, especially when at his best. One of the most talented players to never win a major title, that's for sure.

Resolved Question: Has David Nalbandian
To 10ISGAWD, I do agree with your points with Nalbandian and some of the players that are past their prime. I think that Jankovic, Raymond and Haas have probably reached the end of the line. As for Lleyton and Venus, I think it is a bit narrow to say they should retire just because they aren't at the top or winning any of the majors, that's like saying that some actors shouldn't continue because they haven't won an Oscar. I think Hewitt is not done yet. Sure, I don't think he will win and Grand Slams but he can still win Tournaments and beat some of the top players. The only reason Tomic and Metosovic have succeeded Hewitt is because of Hewitt's injury. If you watched the match against del Potro, you would note that Hewitt was moving around much quicker than he could a year ago. Just because their ranking isn't high doesn't mean they should quit. I may remind you that Hewitt was down in the #200's a year ago and he is back in the top 100. It is also not time for Ivanovic or Davydenko to stop either, we need these people.

Resolved Question: What's your thoughts on
Personally I thought he was an absolute disgrace, and as for his interview afterwards, where he blamed the ATP for making him play too many tournaments and putting him under too much presure, the tournament organisers for stopping play just because he kicked and took a chunk out of the linesmans leg, that the rule book was too big and that these things just happen in the heat of the moment in a match, the interview and excuses where even worse. Never had a problem with Nalbandian before this, always kind of cheered for him because he is in the latter stages of his career and never really fulfilled his potential but have now lost all respect for him, he was a disgrace and should be ashamed. Wouldn't expect those kind of actions and behaviour from a junior, never mind a veteran professional tennis player. Whats everyone elses opinion of what happened?
