Resolved Question: What are your favorite
Fargo (1996) William H. Macy, Frances McDormand and Steve Buscemi
Memento (2000) Guy Pearce, Carrie-Anne Moss and Joe Pantoliano
A History Of Violence (2005) Viggo Mortensen, Maria Bello and Ed Harris
E.T: The Extra-Terrestrial (1982) Henry Thomas, Drew Barrymore and Peter Coyote
My favorite scene from each of these movies -
Fargo (1996)
When Sally Wingert is knitting and one of the burglars looks through the windows and doesn't even notice her in broad daylight, lol.
Memento (2000)
When the female bar worker spits in Guy Pearce's drink and gives it to him, he then has as sip with a funny expression on his face.
A History Of Violence (2005)
When Viggo Mortensen returns home at the end of the movie and his daughter welcomes him by putting a plate on the table, encouraging him to sit down and eat with the rest of the family.
E.T: The Extra-Terrestrial (1982)
When they say goodbye to E.T at the end.
BQ: Rate each of these movies out of 10? How many times you watched these movies?
Fargo (1996) 7/10 (only watched it once)
Memento (2000) 9/10 (only watch it once)
A History Of Violence (2005) 8/10 (only watched it once)
E.T: The Extra-Terrestrial (1982) 9/10 (seen this movie a few times)
BQ2: Name another movie featuring one of the main characters from those films that you like?
BQ3: When was the last time you revised your movie rating of a film after watching it the second time?
Which movie did you give a higher or lower rating to after watching it the second time? Hi Madison - E.T is one of my favorite childhood movies also. Thanks for answering and have a nice weekend.
Hi Nate D - Excellent/Informative answer, thank you. I haven't seen Carlito's Way, Superbad & Dangerous Method and Donnie Darko, but I'm interested in watching them as we both share an interest in (Psychological) thriller movies. I agree with your comments about last 20 -30 mins of The Green Mile, I remember losing interest before then, some people compare The Green Mile to The Shawshank Redemption, but in my opinion The Shawshank Redemption is far superior. Have a nice weekend.
Hi Sydthesquid - I awarded you BA earlier. Thanks for your excellent/informative answer and for the compliments. Haven't seen Boogie Nights, Drive, Eastern Promises & Donnie Darko, but I'll watch them as I love to watch a good thriller movie. Have a nice weekend.
