Resolved Question: Was Gerry Adams a member
I know he denies being a member, but he's almost always referred to as the de facto leader.

Resolved Question: Gerry adams on irland?
i watch the bbc irish debate last night,i did not catch all of it but i saw bit with old gerry talking on health mental illness specifically...how do you irish feel about gerry standing. i did think this myself i would take it as an insult and tell him bu88er off back to the north.i love way he going on about mental illness and self harmers bit rich from him.i roman catholic should have squat do with it but he thought it important at time i agree with you bobtail but down to irish to scream blue murder about it.Adams has had his day,He so concerned about irish health service and mentally ill he should come have chat to people who lives still in turmoil after all these years.and has he ever paid penny towards irish health service. last i hear it british system he was using.the others on that panel you could see were embarrassed.not that i understand irish political system very complicated

Resolved Question: Would you like to see
Jean McConville was abducted from her home in December 1972 by twelve IRA members, comprising both men and women, who killed her with a single bullet to the back of the head. McConville's body was buried secretly on a beach in County Louth, approximately 50 miles from her home. The IRA did not admit their involvement until over twenty years later, when they passed information on the whereabouts of the body. After a prolonged search, co-ordinated by the Garda Síochána - during which the search area and time involved was expanded by the Gardaí - the search was abandoned, as no body could be located in the area specified by the IRA.
Brendan “darkie” Hughes, a former commander of the IRA in Belfast, has claimed posthumously that Gerry Adams ordered the killing and burial of Jean McConville, the mother-of-10 shot dead by the IRA in 1972.
The point is that this guy is still alive, was obviously part of the IRA but will never admit it. Most of the votes he will get will come from IRA supporters, that's why he's running in Louth.
