Resolved Question: Do you know this Scottish
My wife and I are driving ourselves mad trying to remember the name of this comedian. He is Scottish, and the only bit of his act we can remember is when he talks about his son, in which he states that his son's version of reality is completely askew:
"If something doesn't fit his view of the world, he just ******' abandons it! 'I can't go downtown; I haven't got me sword!' and 'Not now, daddy, I've got a meeting with a dragon by the couch.'"
Any idea what his name is? We would love to see some more of his work.
P.S.: No, it is NOT Billy Connoly.

Resolved Question: Should Still Game Return?
For years I have been waiting for Greg Hemphill and Ford Kiernan to make up and re launch still game.
It turns out the reason Greg cancelled the show was because and he states
"We weren’t going to write a bigger sitcom than Still Game or a bigger sketch show than Chewin’ The Fat.”
Not to be funny but who cares it was big enough and I want people to show their support by just saying yes or no (include your reason if you wish - best quote wins it)
Very simply........WE WANT STILL GAME BACK!! Season 7 all the way to the end!

Resolved Question: SCOTTISH ENTERTAINMENT -
Should BBC SCOTLAND AND SCOTTISH TELEVISION be doing more to produce go old fashioned Scottish entertainment?
1. How many of you agree with me that Scottish Shows like the WHITE HEATHER CLUB should be resurrected?
We have so much talent in Scotland - singers, musicians, fiddle orchestras, dancers and comedians, so surely one of the TV stations could easily produce a series of shows, that Scottish audiences and many people in Canada, Australian and New Zealand would enjoy. Ideally eight by half hour or forty five minute shows would be great.
2. Should BBC SCOTLAND or SCOTTISH TELEVISION, be considering making use of today's talent, to produce a series of "FIVE PAST EIGHT" type shows? We have the stars just waiting in the wings.
3. What should we, the Scottish public be doing, to effect a reconciliation (heal the rift) between Ford KIERNAN and Greg HEMPHILL? They are both so talented and 'just made for each other' in comedy.
Come on FORD and GREG, there is enough strife in the world; I am sure that you are both 'big enough' to bury the hatchet.
Sincerely,
HAGGIS BASHER (Falkirk)

Resolved Question: British comedy with
A friend of mine was telling me about a British comedy series that was something along the lines of comedians who were dressed up as older people, and it was a show that made a lot of these actors famous. Anyone have any idea of what show this was? Yes, Still Game, that was it! Thanks so much :)
