Jean-Louis Trintignant
Resolved Question: What did everyone think
I went in with virtually no expectations, even though the cast is great, and the director is one of the best of all-time (arguably).
I was fairly surprised that it turned out to be a fantastic film. Denzel Washington gave one hell of a performance, and I'm routing for him come Oscar night. The use of the Rolling Stones' music was great, John Goodman gave a really hammy performance, but it was a lot of fun, Bruce Greenwood and Don Cheadle both killed it, and breakout Kelly Reilly is definitely someone to look out for. The religion aspect could have been a bit more subtle, but it didn't hurt the film.
Overall, this was a perfect live-action comeback for Zemeckis.

Resolved Question: What are your favourite
Even if it is just a cameo.
Flea- (RHCP)- Back to the future II
BQ: Favourite song by that musician, or where the musician had involvement in?
(say with Flea, it would be the band that he is in, so my answer would be Parral Universe- RHCP.)

Resolved Question: French movie actors'
I am always amazed by the longevity of so many wonderful French actors and actresses. It is truly incredible . Danielle Darrieux made her first film more than 80 years ago and she is still quite active.I loved her performance in Eight Women.. She is now close to 94. Not only the ladies. The great Michel Piccoli is a young 85 and should be good for another 20 or so pix to complete his first 200. Then you have a couple of young guys who have been around forever. I think of Jean Louis Trintignant now 80 and the marvelous MIchel Lonsdale, about the same age. Sometimes English - sometimes French. Makes no difference. A favorite of the late Francois Truffaut. Lonsdale is now 80. I so admired his performance in the made for tv series, Smiley's People with Alec Guiness.. Of course the little baby of that crowd is certainly Catherine Deneuve, but she is only 68.
I hope and pray they all keep making first rate pictures for another 80 years. What is the secret?
Is it the remarkable French wine? (Or maybe the onion soup)_ xxxxxx
