Resolved Question: Can't remember the name
A girl with dreadlocks and her mom/sister end up on a ship with a man (maybe Johnny Depp?) I remember the man cuts the girl's sister's hair off with his sword/knife because she did something. The man and sister maybe fall in love at the end. I think I watched it in between the years 2006-2010 Please answer! I have been searching for this for over 2 years! I don't think it was a horror film, and I'm sure it was on a ship. Thanks for answering anyway, it does seem similar. I hope I can find this film one day

when making small talk with his demure wife Abby played by Jeanne Tripplehorn.
E.G scene Mitch: Would you likeme to fix you some eggs?
Abby: Ive already had some eggs (strange answer at 1AM )
Mitch : Would you like me to fix you some eggs naked?
Couple embrace...(no eggs eaten)
scene (Abby is leaving Mitch and stands near the door hesitantly)
Mitch : I could fix you some eggs?
(Abby leaves without speaking) (so no eggs again)
Question
What do you feel is the intention of the film's director for the 'egg' sequences?
Thanks for your help..this question is part of my up-coming test for my Film Studies Diploma
