Resolved Question: What is the best Marilyn
So I have seriously become obsessed with this woman. I have no idea why, I never thought of her before, then I watched Some like it Hot, and like fell inlove with her.
Today I bought the Book Marilyn Monroe: by Barbara Leaming.
Is that one any good?
I also ordered
The Marilyn Biography by Donald Spoto, Titiled: Marilyn Monroe: The Biography.
and the book "Fragments" which is a collection of letters and journal entries by Miss Monroe.
What are your thoughts on all the books I have previously listed?
Any others I should Buy?
any I should keep away from?
Thanks in advance :)

Resolved Question: Qns about Marilyn
1.i want to buy a book about her
2.i know there are a lot of them out there so i want some recommendations in which one i should get.
3.Did Marilyn Monroe write any books? Did she write 'My Story' & 'Fragments'? I want to buy them but I want only books written by her or her true biography.
4.Are there any movies about her?
5.i am more interested in her personal life than her career so a book that fits that would be great.:)
oh and book that has pictures would be a bonus too!

Resolved Question: Books about Marilyn
I'm a huge Marilyn Monroe fan but I haven't gotten around to reading any of the books on her yet, and I want to learn more about her but I don't know where to begin with the books since there are over 600 of them! I'm calling all dedicated Marilyn/Norma Jean fans to give me some advice here.
I am aware that most of the books (if not all) are written after her death and therefore can't be 100% legit or true (there is really no way to know, right?), but what books are good to read if I want to learn more about her life and career, written by the most reliable sources? Like a biography or something nice in her dedication, not made-up stories that only dishes about her most intimate moments or alleged affairs. I've heard that the Marilyn Monroe Encyclopedia and Fragments are both great books to read. Any more I should get?
Oh, and are there any good picture books or something else Marilyn stuff I should check out?
Thank you in advance :)
P.S - please, do not answer or recommend any books if you haven't read them yourself.
