I am asking this again because I believe it was misinterpreted last time. But for the sake of context: This year, my school's spring musical is Mary Poppins. I hope to get either Mrs. Banks or the nanny herself, Mary Poppins. But just to be prepared, I'd like to work on my Julie Andrews impression. Sooo, I'm wondering if anyone has any specific tips on how I could impersonate Julie Andrew's voice, namely her singing voice? And this does NOT mean, "I want her mouth/throat anatomy and vocal range!" This means, for example, knowing how and when she rounds her "O" vowels, or uses inflection, or how she articulates words. I'd like to incorporate the British "poshness" of her words into my singing, not harmfully alter my vocal cords. Thank you for any help! :)

I love Audrey Hepburn and Julie Andrews but when I searched 'Wouldn't it be Loverly' all this stuff popped up on youtube. I hadn't realized that My Fair Lady had been on Broadway. I listened to Julie's version and it was really nice. Why wasn't she asked to do the movie? Was she busy or something. Also, apparently Marni Nixon is the one singing in the movie. Did Audrey sing at all?
