Resolved Question: Slaughterhouse-Five by
In your opinion, does Vonnegut's unconventional writing style in Slaughterhouse-Five help him convey his message or hurt it? Do you think it's alienating to engage the readers? I'm interested to see some of your responses and if you have a quote to help support your opinion that would be even better!

Resolved Question: Slaughterhouse-Five by
How is the novel's theme (free will/fate) enhanced by the manipulated narrative style (disorganized plot, narrator being a part of the story, preface as the first chapter)?
I know everything there is know from reading spark notes, the book, and every other on-line tool. Now, I need some in-depth analysis into the book. I wrote my essay, but it is terribly choppy. Now I need some points of view to fill the awkward structure..
Thanks. :)

Resolved Question: Authors like Kurt
I'm looking for authors like Kurt Vonnegut, except maybe a bit darker. I like sci-fi and fantasy novels as well, but please no twilight or novels written with a target audience of teenage girls. thanks so much.
