Resolved Question: Sonata no 14. Ludwig Van
I have been playing piano for almost a year now
I know the first thing you are going to say is to NOT try Movement 3, I PROMISE you i can do it. I voraciously played and practiced piano because its my passion, in only two months i was playing fur elise. Four months i did nearly 4 inventions by bach (2-part, grade 5 piano music), 5 i did Maple Leaf Rag and Rondo in G by beethoven, and I've been progressing piano very very well. I just finished Mendelssohn Rondo Capricciosso (N14) and i want to progress. I haven't actually TRIED the 14th sonata, but i have tried the appassionata (No 23 in F-Minor) and i did like half the first movement, but it was too boring a piece, and too serious. YES i could play it!!
I dont plan on cutting off after the first movement, i want to do the whole thing.
I am trying to seek advice before starting, the first movement and almost second i could nearly sight read and play very well.
HOWEVER, I've looked at synthesia and watched performances of the third movement, and it looks very challenging, I'm not talking the beginning easy arpeggio, but I'm talking later in the piece, the interesting parts. Im talking specifically the Base Clef. (I know ur like WTF, because the treble is usually hard, but for me, looks like not a problem). I simply cannot time how many movements i do with the left hand to hit the perfect amount in the perfect time and hit it the EXACT AMOUNT OF TIMES. Does it matter to hit it perfect? or do people usually not? RSVP!

Resolved Question: Bob Dylan or Ludwig van
Now I'm not comparing their talent or trying to say who is better. What I want to know is who do you think is more inspirational to music as a whole and society? Who do you hunk will get more recognition in 100 years times from now? Do you think from 300+ years from now Bob Dylan will get the same recognition as Beethoven did centuries after his death?
BQ- Also why do people think more people listen to classical music now when it's not even popular. Back 300+ years ago surely more people listened to classical music then because it was popular
