Resolved Question: Difference between chi,
What is the difference between the three? Are they simply three different cultures' representation of the same thing or do they have mentionworthy differences?

Resolved Question: Any advice on my mtg
Do you have any advice on this deck?
creatures (8)
4 wall of frost
4 gilder bairn
mana (27)
4 everflowing chalice
4 springleaf drum
15 island
4 vivid creek
control (18)
4 fog
4 negate
3 essence scatter
1 mana leak
1 day of judgement
4 norn's annex
1 doom blade
draw/discard (7)
1 archmage ascension
4 liliana vess (four proxies to substitute for my one real card when they're played)
1 jace beleren
1 traumatize
The basic idea is to stop them from attacking me with the wall of frost, the fogs, and the annexes while I build up mana storage with the chalice/springleaf/gilder combo while countering their big stuff with my control and removal. My win condition (unless they've been milled to death already) is getting off a traumatize/day of judgement/jace's ultimate, and then using vess's ultimate to kill them with their own creatures.
Any and all advice is greatly appreciated. Note: I'm on a budget, so stuff like lord of extinction and doubling season/cube are out.
Thanks!

Resolved Question: Magic: The Gathering:
Quite a bit of a noob here, just getting into MTG
If I add mana to my mana pool by an ability [For instance, Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary] do I have to use mana cards from my deck?
Let's say I have 5 Forests on my field and In play Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary, which I can tap to add 1 Green mana for each Forest I control, do I have to get 5 forests from my deck or is it just sort of there, meaning I have to keep track of it somehow?
