Resolved Question: Name Change.. Those who
My name is Elisia (pronounce Elisha) and I'm wanting to change it because my dad chose my name and I pretty much hate my dad, therefore I've gone off the name quite a lot. I've decided to change my last name for definite because it is my dad's last name.
I'd like to change it to Alessa. It's similar to Elisia and I can keep my nickname which is Elli... if you say 'Ale' as if you're going to say Alessa, it sounds like Elli.
My mum and grandma say it's a nice name but it's just up to me so they're supporting my decision.
Another though is just changing it to Elli as that is what I get called anyway, therefore a nickname could be El and people won't have to try get use to my name change.
If anyone has changed their name, I'd like to know what it was like for you and others getting use to it, please?:3

Resolved Question: I need a name for a girl?
I'm making a character, and I really need a name
She's quite a timid girl who gets scared easily but will always try to stand up to her fears
She has to have D'Arcy as a middle name (it's sort of like a family thing)
And she's adopted so the surname doesn't matter
I'm thinking Florence (or Floren) D'Arcy Hyde
What do you think?
And please give me suggestions?
Just no modern popular unisex names (Like Kendall or Tyler)

Resolved Question: Should I switch barns?
Right now I go to a barn that is okay. But it's become more and more run down and not really that competitive. I like it, don't get me wrong, but I'm not really learning to my full potiential. The owner is buying horses that aren't even broke English or they are too young to be ridden in the lesson program. Therefore there aren't any horses that my level of riding can ride. People have also gotten snottier at my barn and it isn't the fun atmosphere it used to be. Also my instructor seems to favorite people who have money, I have money, but I don't have enough to just throw around. My friends tat have gone there for years also want to switch because of how bad the barn has gotten.Should I switch barns? There is also this other place I want to try and go to, where the trainer was actually in the Olympics. My one friend has been researching this new barn and says it's s lot better than what we are doing now. I am also torn because I have a job at the barn and i have really grown to like the place, what should i do?

Resolved Question: Can you think of any
The "hotfoot" happened a lot in the 30s and 40s, but then went out of style. I can think of three:
1. In "10," Dudley Moore has to make it over hot sand when trying to impress Bo Derek.
2. In "Scary Movie 2" Regina Hall's toes get red hot when she kicks another character at super high speed.
3. In "Cat's Eye" Mary D'Arcy is made to dance in her stocking feet on an electrified grid because her husband (played by James Woods) will not give up smoking.
That's all I can think of. Any others? Oh, yeah, the old firewalking gag...Danny Devito does the same in "Romancing the Stone." As does Roger Moore in "Octopussy."
