Resolved Question: Who would be the foremost
Just wondering which people would be considered top authorities in the field of quantum physics? Based upon their notoriety, contributions to the field, discoveries, etc. Thanks.

Resolved Question: Are single biome planets
I understand how ocean or desert planets could exist, but could things like global forests or swamps exist?
I doubt it because seems you need large bodies of liquid water to make enough rain to support flora, especially that widespread. Or is it possible because a lot of the moisture would be trapped in the atmosphere and plants could get it directly from there?

Resolved Question: Nobel Prize Winning
-----------------------
Dr. Laughlin states:
"The geologic record suggests that climate ought not to concern us too much when we’re gazing into the energy future, not because it’s unimportant, but because it’s beyond our power to control."
----------------------- -----------------------
Dr. Laughlin's Wiki Page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_B._Laughlin
----------------------- Jeff - You can put your other ten names of Nobel Prize Winning Physicist that are Warmist here.
Per your statement here:
"Give me one Nobel prize winning physicist that says global warming is a scam and I'll give you ten that say it's the truth"

----------------------- gcnp58 - That's a pretty good come-back if you're a 6 year old.
----------------------- Jeff - You just admitted that you can't back up what you said. They have to be PHYSICIST that won the Nobel AND believe in man-made Global Warming/Climate Change. And you are still 7 names short, plus you are short the number of names that are not PHYSICIST.
And where are your links to show these people are what you say they are?
Before you whine, remember that you are the one that made that wild boast, I'm just calling your bluff.
----------------------- Jeff - Since you refuse to provide links to show the Nobel prize winning physicist you list as proponents of man-made Global Warming, I can only count 10 out of the list of names you provide. The Chemists don't count, some of the physicists you list might be valid but I can't find clear statements of their position.
You get full credit for all of these: Burton Richter - Physicist, Steven Chu - Physicist, Carlo Rubbia - Physicist, Murray Gell-Mann - Physicist, Peter Grünberg - Physicist, Claude Cohen‐Tannoudji - Physicist, David Gross - Physicist, Klaus von Klitzing - Physicist, Masatashi Koshiba - Physicist, Jack Steinberger - Physicist.
But you did better than I thought you could.
----------------------- Jeff - OK, those are good statements for Walter Kohn and Douglas Osheroff. You are correct about them too, so you got 12, very good. I spent about 90 minutes last night going through the physicist names searching for clear statements by them that they were proponents of man-made Global Warming. Some were easy to find, others, I never could find a statement.
----------------------- pegminer - If and evolutionist points to a cow and says: 'That's a cow and it evolved.'
I can still agree with him that it's a cow and I'm not lying.
