Sophia Loren, Claudia Cardinale, Ornella Muti, Monica Bellucci...?

OK so recently I watched this foreign film online, I pretty much remember everything except for the name of the movie and the names of the actors. I know the main boy's name in real life was Alessandro or something similar, but I can't remember his last name! The lead actress's real names started with an O. So I'm pretty sure it was an Italian movie, it was about this good-looking and successful guy who was involved in a mob or something, and he ended up liking this young poor village girl. He asked the girl to embroider something for a friend who was getting married, but then ended up saying there was no marriage yet but wanted to marry her or something like that. At first she was so happy, however, he didnt treat her very well and then the girl wanted to end things with him. The guy got very mad, and after a while he and his friends ended up kidnapping her and he raped her so that no other man would marry her since she refused to marry him. She tried to press charged but it was difficult, I don't remember how it turned out. Thank you so much to anyone who knows!! I thought the lead actress's name was something like Odella or Ornella or something along those lines, but I can't seem to find anything. Thanks!!
