Resolved Question: Does Anyone Think They
I really need to know the name of a short film. I forget what the title is, but I remember it was a certain year, but in the future.
The film was about a man and his wife sitting in their living room while the woman sewed. He kept having these flashbacks of his son being arrested. The TV was on and they were watching the nightly premiere of a ballet show. Everyone in the world had these things called handicaps so that everyone was the same. Beautiful people wore masks, people with good hearing wore thins to prevent them from hearing well, people who were strong or fast wore weights to keep them down and the likes.
While watching TV the wife talks to the man and then goes into the kitchen to wash the dishes. The man is still sitting in his armchair when an important news broadcast comes through, a man had just broken out of jail and he was wearing no handicaps, he was extremely dangerous and they were telling people to be on the lookout. Then they returned to the ballet show.
Then the guy they were talking about entered the room and started telling people how the handicaps weren't right and how he had planted a bomb under the theatre and stuff. Then he used examples to show how people should be able to be unique. One of his examples was on of the ballerinas who took off all of her handicaps. Another was a violinist who was exceptionally good.
Meanwhile the police found and disarmed the bomb.
Then up top the man who had escaped told the violinist to play and the ballerina started to dance and the doors burst open and a bunch of swat people came in and then the show was put on standby. But the man who was on the stage had another button and he pressed it, and it made you think he had anotherr bomb but instead it put the channel on live again so everyone in the world saw a lady come in and shoot the man on the stage.
In the end the woman washing dishes comes back into the living room and the man goes into his room.
I know that's not much to work with, but if anyones seen it before, or could find it for me, I'd be eternally grateful.

Resolved Question: My review of the film
I like Patricia Clarkson, but what the heck was up with her this time? It's
like she acted through a drug induced coma, no energy, no umph whatsoever. Her performance was like a straight line on a heart monitor and it was very frustrating to watch. I was
intrigued by Cairo, and the culture surrounding her, but the essence of the story was bland and dry like the Sahara desert.
