Resolved Question: Which fiction detective

Resolved Question: What itinerary should I
I've finally come down to the wire with regards to tweaking my itinerary and I was wondering if you could look at how I had it laid out and see if you had any suggestions to make this a relaxing trip and not so much a "seeing Ireland from the car window" kind of trip. If possible I'd also like suggestions as to whether the number of nights we decided to spend in each area are plausible. (If you don't want to read everything then you can scroll down towards the bottom to see the 3 possible itineraries I'm looking for feedback on :0 ) We will be in Ireland from March 11-March 19th after having spent 2 nights prior to arrival in London. The purpose of our trip is to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary and celebrate St. Patrick's Day (when we met) in the country responsible for its origination. Some things that we still aren't sure about would be where to try and spend St. Patrick's Day. Originally we were flying in and out of Dublin. However, after reading forums about Dublin on St. Patrick's we had second thoughts and changed our flights and now we are flying into Dublin from London, and flying out of Shannon to return to the states. I know that I can't see it all, especially with having only 8 nights and leaving early on the 9th day. My list of things I'd like to see is pretty long in my opinion, so I know there's things I'll have to save for my next trip. We're a couple in our early 30's. My husband is in the military and really into the history channel and is a member of a beer around the world club here in the states. We both enjoy the outdoors, being in the country, and being in small settings. Things that my husband wants to see: Northern Ireland War Memorial, Glenariff Forest Park, Dunluce Castle, Mussenden Temple & Downhill Estate, Titanic Exhibit, Giants Causeway, Bushmills Distillery (and any other distilleries besides Guinness), Dark Hedges, John Wayne's filming sight of The Quiet Man, Newgrange, the site of the Battle of the Boyne, and Kilmainham Gaol. I'm fine with anything. I like breathtaking scenic views and castles, which coincidently is everywhere in Ireland. I think the only things I really wanted to see was Lough Tay, King John's Castle, and Adare Manor, but if I didn't get to see them I wasn't going to be upset. I just want to get hotels booked and I can acclimate to anything an area has to offer. These are three itineraries that I was thinking of seeing if I could get feedback on: ________________________________________________________________________________ Option 1: 2 nights in Belfast, 2 nights in Derry, 1 night in Donegal, 2 nights in Galway(spend St. Patrick's Day in Galway??), 1 night in Shannon before departing for home the next morning. Option 2: 1 night in Dublin, 1 or 2 nights in Belfast, 1 or 2 nights in Portrush (If we decide to spend only one night in Belfast, then we will spend 2 nights in Portrush), 1 night in Donegal, 1 night in Westport, Clifden for St. Patrick's Day, and then down past the Cliffs with our last night near Shannon. Option 3: After our arrival in Dublin, drive directly to Belfast for 2 nights. 2 nights in Malahide (stopping along the way at Newgrange). Depart Malahide to spend 1 night in Kilkenny, 2 nights in Limerick, and 1 night in Shannon before departing for home the next morning.

Resolved Question: One day trip from Dublin,
My wife and I are visiting Dublin from Boston in March and I want to take a day trip from Dublin. Primarily it will be drinking at the pubs and having a good time in Dublin. I want to take a nice day scenic trip and rent a car somewhere or after a train etc. If you had only one day to do some historic nice day trip where would you go? Thanks all.

Resolved Question: Movie made in the 90's
Movie made in the 90's where a woman is trying to buy a slave, but a gentleman keeps trying to outbid her. He then tries to tell her that he will buy the slave for her. She refuses and puts a knife to his back and closes the bid. (she is trying to rescue him). Later is seems there is a carriage chase and the admiral of the fleet orders them to shoot the carriage, but they get away. I was like 10 when I saw it and that is the only part I saw. Hopefully you can answer it with so little info. The movie is actually set in like the 1800's. Hope it makes more sense now haha
