Russell Crowe
Resolved Question: Was Russell Crowe Good As
He played the role in Man Of Steel (2013)
He is probably the most famous actor to play the role, though Terence Stamp played him in the Smallville series
I'm not sure about Crowe, he was very good in Gladiator (2000) but he walks through a lot of films, maybe Man Of Steel is one of them.
Was. He good as Jor-El?

Resolved Question: Which actor do you think
Personally I think Crowe was more believable.
His character had the accent, the build, the age, and both the combat and life experience you would expect a figure like Robin Hood to posses.
Plus Crowe's character was a common man, instead of the son of a rich man, who knew from experience the hardships the common people of England suffered at that time.
Plus I thought the story was more realistic.
Being a war veteran, when he returns home, instead of it being a very dramatic scene, Crowe and his boys simply ride off into the woods.
In that and the following couple of scenes afterward, you have the idea," Ok I'm home , now where do I go and what do I do now?"
Most combat veterans that I've seen interviewed said their biggest challenge, after returning home, was trying to find their place in society again.
Crowe's character in the movie conveyed that message beautifully!
Well that's my thought on the subject.
How about you?
