Resolved Question: Recently I decided to try
Delirium Tremens--It tasted better than any Beer I have ever tried. Has anyone else tried this Belgium Ale?? Did you like it?? My twin brother has recently decided to buy every type of beer until he finds one that tastes better. I told him good luck. I am just beginning to enjoy European beers--anyone have suggestions of other high quality beer that you enjoy?? @Richard and Alain--Thanks for the information I really appreciate you taking time to point me in the right direction.

Resolved Question: Is Belgium beer called
I love Chimay, Duvel and Witches Brew all from Belgium.
I no longer drink or like American beer. Stymie,
Sorry but I am on my 2nd bottle of Duvel and feeling it. Of course I know the difference and when to use Belgian and Belgium. I slipped up while drinking. Will you please excuse my error. I promise to never let it happen again........:-)
Secondly, I was comparing Belgian mass produced vs U.S. mass produced beer and there is ZERO comparison. Yes, the U.S. has some decent small breweries but they are rather hard to find. Stymie,

Resolved Question: A question to the REAL
We brew the best beer in this country HANDS DOWN! We brew more styles than any other country (and do it well) and we have the most experimental stuff happening over here. Belgium comes a distant second, but who else is there? Germany? They make the best wheat beers (and maybe pilsners) but that's it. England??! Please! They love their boring milds and bitters which are bland and forgetful. They are the most jealous country of all. I hear them complain all the time that milds and bitters are the only real style worth drinking. They acutally have some of the worst beers of all. All the other countries just put out boring pale lagers and crappy pilsners. Anyone's thoughts? And believe me I'm leaving feedback on dumb answers A A Mexican beer is CRAP. I'm not talking about crappy gas station beers. You are not qualified to answer if you believe those beers you mentioned are good Great answer Socrates. I'm not saying there a no good microbreweries anywhere else (Canada has Unibroue which are pretty good), I'm just saying they can't compare as a country with us. Especially in the fact that we have the east coast andd west coast thing going on. Both sides of the country making same style beers but completely different. Oh no! Not the "G" word. That's bland boring crap (at least the US version is). I always hear that it's best fresh in Ireland. I can't say I've had it there, but even then I would put any good American stout against that flat swill any day. I always laugh when people bring up Guiness because it's not a true craft beer (even in Ireland). That's one step above a Budweiser even over there. Big Jake-I've tried all of the ones you mentioned. Skullsplitter is decent. As mentioned earlier, I'm not saying NO GOOD BEER comes out of any other country, I'm just saying as a whole ours are the best Oh and stop it with Samuel Smith's. I've hated EVERY ONE of their beers except the imperial stout which was just OK. Couldn't measure up to an American one though (like Dark Lord, Storm King, Alesmith Speedway etc)
