Resolved Question: How to get to Nieuwpoort
I want to go to Nieuwpoort to a holiday site with my friends, and we are around 15-16 years old. So we need a way of getting there by ourselves either using ferries, trains etc, and we would like to do it cheaply. Any ideas? Thanks We would be able to stay there, as the people I am going with own one of the villa houses things, so we can stay there whenever for free.

Resolved Question: Do you know anything
Knokke-Heist or Oostende? Hi Johnny, I love Belgian fries, and I love Belgium's grey weather.
What's your favourite city in Belgium?

Resolved Question: Where to buy map of Ypres
Where can I find a detailed map of Ypres, but more importantly, the land surrounding the town?
I'd like to do my own battlefield tour on a bicycle when I go to Ypres this summer...but I am having a hard time finding a map to help me out while in the country side. Everything I can find is only for the core of the town.
I'm a bit of an OCD planner, and I'd like to have my route completely planned before I get to Ypres, so I do not want to buy a map while I am in town if I don't have to wait.
I'd like to buy it online, if possible, but I'd be open to suggestions for where to buy it in person - in Canada.
Thanks to anyone with an answer for me, I really appreciate it!!

Any information anyone can get would do the world of good (and see if anyone can answer my other questions :D)
Jean Simon MACQUET
Born 1 Dec 1764 in Dunkirk, France??? (No sources found on this, but hopefully would indicate his parents but no traces of where this date came from)
Died 26 Dec 1796 at sea off the coast of Nieuwpoort, West-Vlanderen, Belguim (sailor to border of the ship "poste vanhemden" , under captain corneille CARETTE, died on sea in the visibility of the port of nieuwepoort).
Married Maria Barbara THYBAUT (THIBOU).
Any information found on Jean's parents, or any websites of which they could be found would be great!
