Resolved Question: Best places to visit in
Best places to visit in Brazil?
I'm hoping to go to Brazil next year and will have 2-3 weeks only. I would like to stay in Rio for about 5 days, and hopefully take an Amazon retreat if I can afford it, but would like some recommendations for a couple of other cities to explore whilst I'm there? Any help will be much appreciated!

Doctors Perform Emergency C-Section, Discover No Baby
by Jon David Kahn 18 Dec 2013
CABO FRIO, Brazil - Brazilian News site Globo G1 reported that doctors performed an emergency C-section on a 37-year-old woman only to discover that she was not pregnant. Doctors bypassed an ultra sound and performed the surgery at the Women's Hospital in Cabo Frio, Brazil, after being unable to detect a baby's heartbeat. They believed the woman to be 41 weeks pregnant, saying the patient arrived at the hospital with what she said was proof of her prenatal care, was "showing" and complained of sharp pains.

Resolved Question: Trip to brazil, input
I want to plan a trip to brazil, Im in the very early stages of browsing possible destinations. I am more a scenic traveller & would prefer seeing untouched landscape & scenic beaches rather than crowded cities & nightlife, I would also like to see some of the jungle. Right now I have picked up on a few places that have been mentioned a few time
Fernando de Noronha
..... South Brazil?
Im not sure how accessible these places are or how far apart (as I mentioned this trip is in the preliminary stages) but they have caught my attention
I'd like my trip to last about 3 weeks so I need to be realistic about what I can & cant fit in, in terms of multiple destinations.
I would also like to ask in anyone's opinion
Are all these places worth seeing all at once?
Can they all be done in the same 3 week trip?
Would you say they are what I'm after in terms of being naturally scenic?
If I do certain locations on the list I mentioned above is there still a point in doing others mentioned on the list above or would they be relatively the same & if so could I possibly add other places to the list in their place.
I know some of the places mentioned are places & some daily visits but I heard they may still be a distance apart
I would be grateful for anyone's input.

Resolved Question: What is it like to live
My boyfriend wants me to consider living there with him and when we start a family, starting it there.
He is from Sao Paulo. Some little city near by that.
I wouldn't mind living there, I don't speak good Portuguese though.
I've only ever been as s tourist type of thing, never really been there to live.
How would a foreigner cope moving there?
If we did have children what is the school system like to go though?
Is it fairly relaxed?
I know the weather varies.
I am seriously considering this and would just like some opinions on the country
