Resolved Question: Is Trip China Guide a
We are planning a trip to China in December and are looking for a tour operator that will take us to Beijing, Xi'an, Jiuzhaigou, Chengdu and Shanghai. We came across a tour operator called Trip China Guide. They are based in Guilin. I'm interested in hearing from anyone who may have used this tour operator and whether or not they are reliable.

Open Question: How to explore Jiuzhaigou
I'v heard a lot about the mesmerizing beauty of Jiuzhaigou Valley, therefore I'm interested to spend my next holidays in this heaven. But, the matter is there, I don't know which sites of this valley should be on top of my list?

Resolved Question: Where in China can you
I am reading more about Chinese history out of personal curiosity...an introductory chapter in one book I was reading mentioned Chinese history is full of war partially because their landscape is so hard to defend, with plenty of flat grassland and few mountains.
This directly contradicts my stupid American view of China, which, if not a big, bustling city, usually DOES include high, sweeping landscapes filled with big, forested mountains. As well as those ridiculously thin, almost tooth-like mountains spiking up in lakes and rivers, which you can often see in landscape paintings, especially in cheap Chinese restaurants.
Well, I presume those landscapes with the tall, thin mountains EXIST but I don't know where they would be. Is there a part of China that is more mountainous than others, where you could go and see such views?

Resolved Question: Can you swim in
The waters there are crystal clear and absolutely beautiful. I was planning to take a vacation next year and would like to know If swimming is possible there. Google image search Jiuzhaigou and you will know what I am talking about.
