Resolved Question: Cheap French Railway
I am staying near Gare de Lorient station, Brittany, France for a Holiday and i want to go to Paris with the family. 2 Adults 1 16yr 14yr and 12yr old.
When looking on the SNCF English site it costs upwards of 500£, when looking French SNCF using a Translate Page Ad-on with Chrome, it was about 200Euros.
Is there a way of reducing this...eg. driving half way, driving to the Suburbs of Paris and parking at the Metro Station. (I know that the journey involves changing at a station for another train and that i am traveling by High-Speed Change but I really need the price to be cheaper!!!)
I only ask as surprisingly the English Railway is cheaper for the family traveling between Kings Lynn and London Kings Cross.
I want to leave on a Tuesday and return on the Wednesday.

Resolved Question: Getting over racial
I'm 16 years old now and I am a black american student studying french language and culture. When I turn 17, I will be going to study abroad in France at a french language school, and then a french high school. Yes I know there are africans that live in France. But at the first school which is made up of students from all over the world (mostly europe) learning french. When I see tours of there, all of the students are white europeans or white americans. I have nothing against them; I'm very open to being in a learning and social environment with just about anyone I meet. I don't enjoy making prejudged statements, but I'm afraid that the other students won't be as open to me. I could be very wrong; but just in case. What are some things that I can do for them to get over their fears or judgments of me. Would there be any racial stereotypes that they would have of me coming from america and being black? The same questions also go for french teenagers as well, in the high school. How would feel towards me? Is it likely that they'd be racist or prejudice? What stereotypes of me would they have? I'd also like to mention that I won't be staying in any big cities where there's an obvious culture mix and there's more diversity. I'll actually be in Lorient, Bretagne which i'm guessing doesn't have much racial diversity.
Thanks for all of your help :) Anything you can tell me will help me have a more pleasant experience :)
Thanks a bunch.

Resolved Question: Best Website?: Looking
I've tried appartager.fr and colocationfrance.fr but I still haven't had any success finding a place in Lorient. Does anyone have a direct link to any website that could help me find additional advertisements for housing?
5 points for direct links!
Thanks in advance! :) I should add that I will be staying there from September to June and therefore, simply wish to rent a place for that period. (@Jean-Michel) I should ALSO add that:
1. I am willing to live with any number of people, preferably 2/3 others.
2. Preference would be as close as possible to l'Université de Bretagne-Sud (where I will be working) e.g. Rue Jean-Zay, Rue de Lanveur, Rue de Kerjulaude, Rue Jean de Merville.
3. I'm looking for something around 300/320 euro but am willing to pay extra if the location is good.
Thank you very much for your help Jean-Michel! :)
