Resolved Question: Where's the best place to
I'm thinking of planning a trip for next winter but going out west is a little out of my price range. Where's your favorite place to ski in the east and why? I live in Toronto so I was considering places like Mont Tremblant, Mont-Sainte-Anne, Le Massif, etc. Thanks for the help!

Resolved Question: What is the difference
I was visiting Sainte Anne de Beaupre Basilica with a friend for the first time. I mistakenly referred to it as a cathedral one time and she corrected me saying that it is a basilica because it is too large to be a cathedral.
I realized I didn't know much about these two types of buildings (I'm not a religious person either), so I'm trying to figure it out.
Regardless of what she explained, it seems to me like the main identifier for a cathedral is that is contains a bishop's throne.
I read that a basilica can be identified as a Christian church given ceremonial rites by the Pope and is often frequented by those on pilgrimage. The dictionary defines a basilica church as including a nave, aisles, and a clerestory, but don't cathedrals have these architectural details too?
Based on what I've read, it seems they actually have few architectural differences if any, and are made distinct more by how they're actually used.
Was she correct? Is there something I'm missing? Any clearer distinction between the two would be most helpful, thanks!

Resolved Question: Catholic Necklace
I bought a necklace at the Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré in Quebec. I want to know what the meaning behind the necklace is. It is shaped like a circle made up of 15 diamonds and it has 5 diamonds in the center, any ideas?
