Resolved Question: Is street performing
I would like to move to Utrecht and do street performing on the side. Am I able to just pick up my guitar and go, or do I need a license or anything like that? Thanks! Danke vel!

Open Question: Should I Study abroad in
I go to one of the UC's in California and am planning on studying abroad Fall 2012 in either Denmark or the Netherlands. I will be a Junior and am a psychology major. I don't know what classes will be offered in the Fall yet, but the universities in both the Netherlands and Denmark offered psychology classes in the past that were taught in English. I also will most likely be able to take GE's while I'm abroad, so transferring credits shouldn't be much of a problem.
If I go to the Netherlands it would be Utrecht University.
If I go to Denmark it would be University of Copenhagen.
I also want to travel while I'm there, so I feel like the Netherlands might be more convenient in location for traveling.
I feel like in either country I would have a great experience, but would also like to know which country may be more open minded toward Americans and where I would fit in better.
Thank you so much!

Resolved Question: Utrecht, The Netherlands?
Hi, I (and my whole class) will be moving to Utrecht for a semester in September. So I have a few questions..
- We have to fly into Amsterdam, what is the best way to get from there to Utrecht and how much will it cost? Are train and taxi the only options?
- What is there to do in Utrecht, apart from museums and Dom Tower?
- What is the public transport there like?
- None of us speak any Dutch. Are there any phrases we NEED to know? If so could you try to explain how to pronounce them?
- What sort of prices should we expect to be paying? rent, bills, food, going out?
- What is the nightlife like?
- What sort of weather should we expect?
- Any other information we need to know?
Thanks in advance! :)
