Gerald
All the land was Biblical Israel, nothing was taken from the Palestinians as there were no Palestinians.

Resolved Question: Israeli-Palestinian
There's a mini project happening in my history class, where half the class are palestinians and the other half are israelis. We need to come up with a bunch of questions to ask each other regarding security, two state solutions, giving regions to palestinians, the status of jerusalem, and other issues occurring in the conflict. Just to help start my questions, could anyone come up with a one or two (or more) questions that would be asked to the palestinian and israeli groups regarding the issues stated above.
note- if you can't come up with any, then a few bullet points on what types of intriguing questions i could ask would be helpful

Resolved Question: Who are the palestinians?
and why are they called palestinians? why do they say they come from the caanites? if these people were eliminated or absorbed by Israelites then how do you explain the palestinians? I know the name of palestine was given by romans after they took jerusalem

Resolved Question: Questions about
Are the areas where Palestinians live currently considered part of Israel? That is, does Israel itself consider this land to be its own?
Was there some sort of agreement that Israelis could not actually live in this portion of Israel, and is this why Palestinians are unhappy with the "settlements"? If so, what was the nature of this agreement, and why hasn't Israel honored it?
Can a Palestinian move anywhere in Israel s/he likes, or are they restricted to the small areas we usually hear about?
Does the Israel government provide the basic public services (police, schools, etc.) they would provide across the whole country, to those areas where Palestinians live? Do Palestinians pay taxes?
Best Answer will be awarded to someone who answers all of my specific questions, though it's okay to skip one or two if you truly don't know. I will not give Best Answer to anyone who, instead of actually answering, wants to chime in with something like, "Palestinians suck" or "Israelis suck."

Resolved Question: Palestinians origins?
my impression was that the palestinians originated when they were labeled as such at the beginnning of the british mandate in the beginning of the 20th century. i know that the palestinians included jewish, christian, and muslim alike as long as they lived in the area... is this true? any of this?
