Resolved Question: Is there enough to do in
I am planning for a 8 night trip to Slovakia in the 2nd week of April with my wife. I can choose from Hungary / Czech Republic / Greece or Slovakia but somehow I am keen on Slovakia as I feel it would be less touristy. My questions are as follows:
1. How is Slovakia as a tourist destination?
1. Is there enough to see in Slovakia for 8 nights or should I do maybe Budapest for 3 nights and remaining in Slovakia?
3. If i do Slovakia for 8 nights then what are the places I should definitely include in my itinerary.
I am 34 years old and my wife is 31. We are not very keen on museums etc but really are into scenic mountains / nature etc.

Resolved Question: Should Canada start up a
Remember the Punch-up in Piestany? The Punch-up in Piestany was an infamous bench-clearing brawl between Canada and the Soviet Union during the final game of the 1987 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships in Piešťany, Czechoslovakia (today Piešťany, Slovakia) on January 4, 1987. The incident resulted in the ejection of both nations, and while the Soviets had already been eliminated from medal contention, the disqualification cost Canada a certain medal – potentially the gold. The brawl is famous for officials having turned off the arena lights in a desperate attempt at ending the 20 minute melee. Much of the blame was placed on Norwegian referee Hans Rønning, who was selected for the game based on his perceived neutrality rather than experience.
Russia ONLY DID IT BECAUSE THEY WERE ALREADY ELIMINATED AND DIDNT WANT CANADA TO WIN THE GOLD.
Well Canada.... Russia apparently likes brawls.

Resolved Question: Piestany, Poprad,
Looking for a place that would make everyone happy in northern Slovakia. One person likes town/spa, another country/mountain, and others like aqua park. We are travelling by car with a 2 1/2 year old in late September.
Research results thus far: Thermal/Mineral Spa in Piestany, Poprad with Aquacity, or Liptovsky Mikulas with Tatralandia. Which place would be the best to make everyone happy? Any suggestion where to stay near the spa or aqua park?
Is there any spa or mineral pools with accommodations that would suite all ages and good for family?
