Resolved Question: How can I travel europe?
I plan on doing a short trip across Europe in August (I know this is the worst time to go but it' the only time I can get off). I plan on visiting the following cities: Amsterdam, The Netherlands Budapest, Hungary Pecs, Hungary Ljubljana, Slovenia Trieste, Slovenia I don't know the best method I can take to travel round these cities? Also I have a budget of £1400/ 1685 euros. This is to include everything - travel, accomdation, food etc. If I use hostels, eat supermarket food, spend little on tourist attractions etc, how many days roughly could this budget last?

Resolved Question: Best places in Slovenia
My parents are now deciding where go on our summer holiday. We're a family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 teenage girls (ages 12, 14 and 15). By browsing the web, I thought that Slovenia sounded lovely. I would love to go there but my parents need a bit of persuasion! We would probably split the two week holiday in to two parts so one week we would like a city and the other week a nice lake where there is lots to do (canoeing, kayaking etc etc). Does anyone have any ideas btw the holiday has to be of a reasonable price :L also nothing too boring.

Resolved Question: Traveling Europe, here's
I plan on taking a 2 week trip to europe this August... here's my planned route: http://www.flickr.com/photos/25315697@N02/6913870867/in/photostream I'll fly to Madrid from JFK, make my way to Budapest, mainly by train, I think, and then fly back to JFK from Hungary. What are some must see things/towns along the way? Is there a city I ought to stay a few nights in; a city I ought to avoid? Any other tips? Keep in mind I am an 18 year old female traveler, traveling solo. I'll be staying in hostels/possibly CouchSurfing. Thank you so much! What a wonderful answer. I'll definitely be staying in Arles and will try to include Austria. I don't think I'll have too much trouble in Spain- I have olive skin and brown hair. I speak Spanish decently, too. Lol, I know it's probably not the safest thing. I'll be smart about it though... anything is better than another summer spent in Ohio.

Resolved Question: Interrail trip
My mates and I are considering interrailing in summer and we are trying to decide which destinations to go to. has anyone been interrailing anywhere that they would recommend? we plan to go for either three weeks or a month, and we would like to visit mostly large cities, but other suggestions for smaller towns will be really useful as well! Looking for places to visit in the day as well as good nightlife. Also, we would be interested in going to some festivals, so do you know of any festivals happening in the summer? Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks.
