Resolved Question: Thun vs Spiez vs Brig?
Hi! I will be arriving in Switzerland from Paris in September by train and I will be spending 4 nights in Switzerland before going to Milan, also by train. Where should I base myself? I don't want to stay in Luzern, Bern or Interlaken. Looking for smaller towns. I'm looking to do some hiking and maybe visit a mountain (either Jungfraujoch or Matterhorn). Thanks.

Resolved Question: Hiking in Switzerland
I'll have a couple of days around end of November, and I will be close to the South of Switzerland (Tessin, Wallis, Glarus etc). Since I'm German speaker, I'd prefer Wallis (like Brig) but Tessin would be still ok if it has some more or less acceptable Wanderwegnetz, but my question is- what is the weather around that time in that Cantons? I know, Tessin would be some 10 degrees warmer than Wallis (I obviously don't mean the valley of Wallis - prefer to go up to the mountains).

Resolved Question: Four day car trip to
We will be visiting Switzerland by car with Basel as our entry point. The countryside, scenic views and "must see" destinations are of interest. We have already been to Lucern and Zurich so we could pass on those? Any suggestions on how to plan our trip would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Resolved Question: A week in Switzerland:
I'm planning a vacation to Switzerland and I've only got 8 days and 7 nights. (or 7 days and 6 nights)
What cities/places should I visit for a week in Switzerland?
I'm flying to Zurich but I haven't decided the city I am leaving from. (It could be Zurich again!)
I'm interested in places such as Zurich, Luzern, Interlaken, Zermatt, Montreux, Lausanne and Geneve but I don't think I can't visit them all within 8 days.
Could you suggest me some eligible but nice routes and places that I can visit within a week?

Resolved Question: Which Swiss Pass to get
We will be travelling to Switzerland from Italy for 7 Days in Sept with the below rough itinerary.
Venice, Italy --> Zermatt (2nights) --> Interlaken (2nights) --> Lucerne(2nights) --> Zurich --> Paris, France
Zermatt - Will be getting a 2 days ski pass
Interlaken - Travelling from Lauterbrunnen -> Wengen -> Kleine Scheidegg -> Jungfrau -> Grindelwald
Lucerne - Lake Lucerne, Chapel bridge, Lion Monument, etc.
And I would really appreciate some good help on the following.
1. Would a 1 month Half Fare Card or a Flexi Swiss Pass be a better choice?
2. If for the Half Fare Card, which would be the first station into Switzerland if travelling from Venice. Would it be Domodossola? Can I get it from there? Or can I buy it from Brig instead?
3. For the 1 month Half Fare Card, are we also entitled to a one trip in(Italy) and out(Paris)?
4. If we were to take the Flexi Swiss Pass, would we be using a day off the pass during our trip up to Jungfrau? Do you think 5 days for a Flexi Swiss Pass is sufficient?
