Resolved Question: Berwick Rangers identity?
I don't get it, I thought Berwick was a town in England where everyone considered themselves Scottish. Yet at matches they have St Georges flags. Can anyone explain?

Resolved Question: Haunted places around
My in-laws are coming to visit for 2 weeks and we all want to visit some haunted places around the area Berwick upon Tweed or in the borders of Scotland.
Each time we try to search for areas on Google we cant seem to find much, so I was hoping that someone here would know a good area to visit. (Not Edinburgh as we already know about that area)

Resolved Question: Holiday in Scotland and
I am planning a holiday in Scotland (mainly) and North England in October. The itenerary that I have planned looks as follows:
8th October – London to York by Train and pick up the car from station at York. O/N at York
9th October – O/N at York
10th October – York to Windermere, O/N at Windermere
11th October – O/N at Windermere
12th October – Windermere to Edinburgh, O/N at Edinburgh
13th October – O/N at Edinburgh
14th October – O/N at Edinburgh
15th October – O/N at Edinburgh
16th October – Drop the car at Edinburgh station and proceed to London by train.
I need answers to the following queries.
1. For Scotland, I want to make my base in Edinburgh and visit places like Glasgow, Inverness, Lochness, Scottish Highlands etc in the form of day trips. Is this a good idea or should I reduce one night in Edinburgh and have one night in Inverness or any other city if the distances are too much?
2. If you agree that I should make Edinburgh my base and then do day trips from there, is 4 nights enough for me to do Scotland completely? If not, I can reduce 1 night in York or Windermere and make it 5 nights in Edinburgh instead of the current 4. What do you suggest?
3. What are the places close by that I should definitely do from York, Windermere and Edinburgh?
4.Any other suggestion / tips are most welcome
