Resolved Question: Historical Places to
I travel the UK once a week, just for a day out with family.
Ive visited some stunning places one of my favourites is Ludlow.
I love anything with small town with something interesting - historical
Ive run out of ideas and cant seem to find much on the Internet.
I don't want to travel too far...
Less than 2hrs away from my City (Liverpool) would be great.

Resolved Question: Should I get a rail card
Ok so I'm lucky enough to be studying abroad next year in London. I want to take some day and weekend trips. So far I definitely want to go to Scotland, Bath, Oxford, and Stratford-upon-avon. Maybe a couple other places as well. So I'm curious as to what sort of rail card you guys would recommend. I heard that there's one that gets you 30% off, but is that to all trains? And then there are some witch are good for a certain amount of trips?
Basically I'm not too familiar with the system, so any insight into what would be cheapest (I'm on a student budget, so this one's important) and most convenient for me would be great.
Thank you so much! Also, I'm hoping to take the chunnel to Paris at some point, but is that included in any rail passes or is that separate?
