Resolved Question: Wesley Clark as Obama's
Do you think that by choosing Clark as his VP Obama will win over some of the voters being lost to McCain a "Wartime President"? Love to hear you thoughts and concerns.

Resolved Question: Do you agree with Wesley
Retired U.S. Gen. Wesley Clark said, refering to John McCain, that he doesn't think, "riding in a fighter plane and getting shot down is a qualification to be president." He also said that, "He hasn't been there and ordered the bombs to fall. He hasn't seen what it's like when diplomats come in and say, I don't know whether we're going to be able to get this point through or not," "I certainly honor his service as a prisoner of war. He was a hero ... as a prisoner of war. And he has traveled all over the world. But he hasn't held executive responsibility"
Clarck was implying that McCains argument against Barack obama's lack of experienced didn't have as much merit as it appears and McCain is being hypocritical in that sense.
Do you agree? I don't think the McCain campain has tried to sell his war record as experience, but I think there has been some emphasis on it for McCain's foreign policy. I personaly think Clark brings up a valid point and I don't see his remarks as inapropri

Resolved Question: Wesley Clark comments?
I don't understand the big deal. All he said was that being shot down over enemy lines does not qualify you to become president. That's completely true. He didn't dishonor John McCain, all he said was that being a prisoner doesn't mean you can necessarily be president.

Resolved Question: Do you think Obama should
The audacity of Gen. Wesley Clark: this time I think he's gone much too far in his statement -this is a guy that is known for running at the mouth impulsively -wouldn't it be a good idea if Obama simply disassociated himself from this man once & for all, before he does more damage to his campaign..? To 'Don C': No, I'm not a 'GOP stooge' I'm an Independent who voted for Kerry in the last election; people such as you should be banned from this board -there is no place in civil discussion for name-calling.

Resolved Question: Why should Wesley Clark
Why should Clark appologize for his comment he made about McCain a couple of days ago? It's a perfectly legit statement to say that just because you served in a war and were held as a POW, doesn't automatically qualify you to be president. It's a valid statement! It's about time this country starts to get picky about who it chooses as its president, rather than just looking at things like military service as being the only determining factor in who will be able to effectively lead this country on all issues.
